Fingers caught in door
Until your baby learns how doors work there's always the risk that his fingers may become trapped. Injury may result in wounds or even broken bones.
What to do

If the skin is broken and there is serious bleeding take your child straight to the nearest hospital emergency department. If it is bleeding profusely, press on the wound and hold your child's hand up in the air. When the bleeding stops, cover it with a clean, non-fluffy dressing and put your child's arm in a sling for the journey to hospital.
